On Saturday January 18th, 2015, my friend and I went to watch this promising movie that I saw the trailer a few days beforehand.
So before I proceed any further, here are some facts about Villa Nabila.
Villa Nabila is one of the scariest places on earth. According to the movie poster, it's one of the top 10.
So I did some research and I couldn't find any precise saying that it's one of the 10 but I did find one saying that it's one of the scariest places on earth. :: source ::
There were a lot of speculations about this place but only ONE caught my intention.
It was said that not long ago, a young girl named Nabila and her parents moved into the house and lived a very happy life.
But not long after, they were robed and her parents were killed.
Nabila was raped countless of times and finally she was murdered.
Her body was then cemented into the walls of the house hence the cases where demolishers that tried to take down the walls started seeing blood flowing out of them.
But well, it is still a speculation. It might be wrong but it might also be the truth.
Who to say right?
Lets say that it's the truth, I pray to God Almighty so that her soul is blessed and is placed among the pious.

Synopsis (Spoilers Alert) ::
This is a based on a true story movie. It began with an introduction done by the person in-charge of the documentary, Matiin Wa Azrin. He said that he had entered the stated Villa, which is Villa Nabila (Nabila's Villa). He was with one of his cameraman looking around and they saw a demolishing notice pasted on the wall.
Just how a normal person with the intend to find out about everything, he started contacting the people that were in-charge with the demolishing project.
The first people that Azrin met was Junaidi and another guy which I forgot his name.
To their disappointment, Junaidi and his friend didn't or should I say couldn't reveal the things they know since they were sworn by secrecy. But filling guilty, they gave Azrin another person's name that he thought might help them in the pursuit. Hence, they got a hold of Amar & Asyraf who were Junaidi's workmate at the time they were at the Villa.
The screen then changed view and the interview with Amar and Asyraf began. But all of the people involved had requested that their faces not be shown on the movie and that's why we were only allowed the see 2 silhouette shadows of them.
Amar and Asyraf began telling Matiin about what happened to them and the story began.
So, to know more about what had happened, you guys should get to the nearest cinema to you and give it a go.. :)
Author's Opinion / Criticism ::
:: Well with me being a Horror & Thriller movie addict, I find this movie quite intriguing.
:: The plot was there and the actors were kinda good with their acting.
:: Yet there are still some events in the movie that I don't see the relevance.
:: Maybe because of the self constructing wall and blood coming out of the wall part.
:: Just like other horror/thriller movie made by us proud Malaysians, this great movie couldn't run from the cliche moments.
:: Damn! Even the ghost appearances were very little in this movie.
:: Overall evaluation of mine tells me this movie could have been a bit more successful if they had used the real footage that they had for themselves.So as far as I'm concern, I will give this movie these ratings ::

Acting/Casting :: 7 / 10
Lighting/Camera Control :: 6 / 10
Quality :: 7 / 10
Overall :: 34 / 50 @ 68 / 100 = Not Bad, Could Have Been Better!
